Brief

We believe in keeping things simple, smart, and people focused. Every project starts with listening and ends with something we're proud to share. Whether it’s a piece from our furniture range made to order in your size and material choices, or an entirely bespoke commission, it starts with a conversation to understand your design preferences and practical requirements.

  • Our furniture is made to order, so sizes, material choices and design can be matched to your exact requirements.  If you like a piece from our range but would like it tailored to your interior, we can produce CAD 3D renders to show you what different wood types, colour and sizes will look like.  Our material library shows wood types and innovative materials we often use and combine in our furniture for inspiration.  Simply get in touch via email or phone and we’d be delighted to explain this further.

  • Whether you have an idea, a sketch, example images or detailed design drawings , we can work with you to design and make a wide variety of bespoke work.  This can range from an individual piece of furniture, an entire property architectural joinery package, to a piece of public art.

Design

Whether you have an idea, a sketch, example images or a design drawing, we can help you develop these into a detailed design, and produce 3D CAD technical drawings, bringing your project to life.

 All bespoke commissions include a design fee equivalent to 10% of the total project.

Materials and finishes

We love to work with soild British hardwoods for their warmth and durability, but also like to combine them with innovative materials to add texture and colour.  We’ll talk you through our in depth knowledge of materials, and using our sample library show you how different materials will look and behave for your project. We select materials that are British sourced, natural and responsible.

We use natural hard wax oil finishes to preserve and enhance our work, and various alternative finishes for projects where durability is key.

Making

We make our work in our Bristol-based workshop, using a meticulous combination of traditional hand tools, workshop machinery, and specialist digital fabrication. This results in pieces that are crisp and precise, with gently softened details.

Delivery

We deliver all our large freestanding pieces ourselves, and install all our own fitted projects. We want you to enjoy them in the perfect condition they left the workshop, and it’s also an opportunity for us to enthuse about all the details with you!

  • Freestanding pieces from our range are typically delivered within 10-12 weeks from confirmation of an order.  Bespoke commissions and larger scale joinery projects are usually discussed several months in advance.  They typically involve a design development and approvals phase, followed by scheduling delivery and/or installation to meet your project schedule.

    Our furniture may be purchased via our website. Alternatively, you may secure your order via payment of a 20% deposit invoice.  Once we’re ready to start making your piece, we will issue a 40% stage payment invoice, followed by the 40% balance invoice once your piece is ready for delivery.  Please contact us for your deposit invoice.

    For fitted furniture and bespoke commissions, we will issue a 20% deposit invoice to secure the project, followed by staged invoices during the project according to project duration. We will provide an invoice schedule for each project.

  • For online furniture orders placed via the our website, delivery will be listed at checkout as £0.00. A price will be calculated once your order has been received, based on the delivery address and the level of service you require. A white glove service and overseas shipping and crating is available if required.

    For larger fitted projects, delivery and installation costs will be detailed in your project quotation.
