About Us
Established in Bristol in 2017, King and Webbon design and make contemporary furniture and bespoke joinery for both residential and commercial projects.
Our Story
Founder of King & Webbon is designer-maker Andy King. Originally from an engineering background, Andy’s passion for woodwork developed as a child while working alongside his Dad, a carpenter of over 50 years.
This inspired Andy to change career and train as a furniture maker, with a focus on designing and making furniture that is minimalist, modest and authentic; meticulously crafted and environmentally responsible.
Drawing inspiration from great icons like Finn Juhl and Robin Day, but also the natural environment, Andy’s designs are inspired by art deco, Danish modern and Japanese aesthetic, creating calm and uncluttered spaces.
Workshop
We’re a small friendly team of experienced designers and makers, with years of experience under our belts, operating from our central Bristol workshop.
Sustainability
We like to champion British timber from our local sawmills in our work. By using home-grown timber from sustainable, productive UK woodlands, we aim to help create a thriving UK wood culture that benefits our environment, people and our economy.
We also use a diverse selection of materials to complement this, which we try to ensure are locally sourced, naturally based, and responsibly manufactured.
How it works
Every project starts with listening to your brief and ends with something we're proud to share.
